G’day!

My name is Jake McCoull and I have recently been appointed as the President of the Libertarian Party Western Australia. I have been a member of the party since before our first registration in Western Australia at the end of 2016. Since then, like many of our dedicated members, I have volunteered for party election efforts in State and Federal elections and served as a candidate in several of these. I was born and raised in Western Australia. I am passionate about shooting sports, scuba diving, adventure motorcycle riding, and civil liberties. I work in Think Tanks, Media and I run a business specialising in the maintenance of satellite antennas and ground station equipment.

After last year’s Annual General Meeting, I joined the State Executive as the Branches Manager. I am proud to say that we now have developed branches for the Perth Metropolitan region and Southern Regional WA. We need your help to continue developing these branches and to aid in this, please use the new Libertarian Party Branch Development Toolkit (v1.2).

Our primary efforts are to re-register our party to contest the 2025 Western Australian State Election. We need 500 members to sign membership registration forms and update contact party details by February 5th, 2024, to re-register. We commenced re-registration efforts four weeks ago and already we have reached 20% of the 500 members required for re-registration!
